When the motion picture opened in 1982, Reese’s Pieces were seen in a 90-second segment in which a young boy drops a trail of Reese’s Pieces leading to his house, but not before swallowing a few himself, and then again in a 4-minute sequence in which the alien returns some of the Reese’s Pieces to the boy, then follows a new trail of Reese’s Pieces into the house.
